Why?

In this day and age, there is a lot of confusion about what the Bible says. “Is that actually what the Bible says?”, “Did God say that?”, “What does the Bible say about this?” are some of the questions that ponder people. The purpose behind Sound Doctrine Online is to make the word of God be heard as clear as crystal throughout the world. The Bible is our final authority when it comes to faith and doctrine, and if that is unclear then there is no ground on which a Christian can stand. “For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?” (1 Corinthians 14:8 KJV).

What do we stream?

We only endorse and stream content from channels that are in sync with the following core beliefs:

1. We believe that salvation is by grace through faith. Being born again by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ is the only requirement for salvation.
2. We believe in the eternal security of the believer (once saved, always saved).
3. We believe in baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
4. We believe that the unsaved will spend eternity in torment in a literal hell.
5. We believe that Jesus is God, and that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary. We also believe in the doctrine of the Trinity where the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost are three distinct persons.
6. We believe that Bible translations should use the Greek Textus Receptus as the only source instead of the Dead Sea Scrolls. In English, we endorse and use the King James Version of the Bible.
