Faith Alone

  1. John 1:12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

  2. John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

  3. John 3:18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

  4. John 3:36  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

  5. John 5:24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

  6. John 6:40  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

  7. John 6:47  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

  8. John 20:30  And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: Joh 20:31  But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

  9. Act 10:43  To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

  10. Act 16:31  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

  11. Rom 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

  12. Rom 3:22  Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

  13. Rom 3:28  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

  14. Rom 8:24  For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

  15. Rom 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Rom 10:10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom 10:11  For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Rom 10:12  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. Rom 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Rom 10:14  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

  16. Gal 2:16  Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

  17. Tit 3:5  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Tit 3:6  Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; Tit 3:7  That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

  18. Heb 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

  19. 1Jn 5:1  Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

  20. 1Jn 5:5  Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

  21. 1Jn 5:10  He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 1Jn 5:11  And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 1Jn 5:12  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 1Jn 5:13  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Without Works

  1. Rom 3:19  Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

  2. Rom 3:20  Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

  3. Rom 3:28  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

  4. Rom 4:1  What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? Rom 4:2  For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. Rom 4:3  For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Rom 4:4  Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. Rom 4:5  But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Rom 4:6  Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

  5. Rom 4:23  Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; Rom 4:24  But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

  6. Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

  7. Gal 2:16  Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

  8. Gal 3:11  But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

  9. Gal 3:22  But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

  10. Gal 5:4  Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Gal 5:5  For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

  11. Eph 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9  Not of works, lest any man should boast.

  12. Mat 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Mat 7:22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Mat 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Once Saved Always Saved

  1. 1Jn 5:10  He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 1Jn 5:11  And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 1Jn 5:12  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 1Jn 5:13  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

  2. Mat 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Mat 7:22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Mat 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

  3. John 6:35  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John 6:36  But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. John 6:37  All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. John 6:38  For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. John 6:39  And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. John 6:40  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

  4. John 5:24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

  5. John 3:18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

  6. John 10:28  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 10:29  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

  7. John 11:25  Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: John 11:26  And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

  8. 2Co 1:22  Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

  9. Eph 1:12  That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. Eph 1:13  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Eph 1:14  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. 

  10. 1Jn 2:25  And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

  11. Tit 1:2  In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

  12. Php_1:6  Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

  13. Eph 4:30  And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

  14. Rom 4:5  But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Rom 4:6  Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Rom 4:7  Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Rom 4:8  Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

  15. Rom 8:33  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Rom 8:34  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Rom 8:35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Rom 8:36  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Rom 8:37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Rom 8:38  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Rom 8:39  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  18. Psa 89:29  His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven. Psa 89:30  If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments; Psa 89:31  If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments; Psa 89:32  Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. Psa 89:33  Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail. Psa 89:34  My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.Psa 89:35  Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David. Psa 89:36  His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. Psa 89:37  It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
